Here I will post writings similar to articles and essays. They could be either one. It is difficult to put together a full video essay, and I haven't yet, so this will suffice for me. This could also function similar to my "Love Letter" series from my old form of website, but in drawn out form. I think mainly I will use this to express my emotions or publish manifestoes, similar to my Niche Webring Manifesto, but for other ideas. Don't express much quality from this. I think that I'll write in a sub-grammatical form and maybe run the texts by my friends, but not put *too* much effort into professionalism. I will always know that there is an "audience" reading, so I won't get too wild, but these texts will definitely be *of me*. I might also include companion texts to help understand the articles/essays better, but I really am not sure.
I think for the most part I will be taking influences from my favorite video essayists (Jacob Geller, Leadhead, Hazel, etc.) as well as writings upon new forms of art (Like the establishment of Plunderphonics, Clapping music, Music as a Gradual Process, etc.) Of course, my list of influences are ever changing, so do not take this as gospel. However, if you ever want recommendations, I will be sure to essay about it.
I've noticed sometimes that I end up using these essays as methods to flesh out my feelings on a subject, so sorry if they are entirely personal TvT
